Description

The job of a tongue depressor is to help control volume in your boot or shoe. For those with slender feet, often you must tighten the laces down to the point where the top wings of the shoe have been pulled almost completely together and the laces appear much bunched up. Adding a tongue depressor under the laces of your shoe adds volume to the top of your foot allowing for a better fit, less movement of the foot inside the shoe, and less effort lacing up.
