These plush pile lined slippers make a stylish statement with their distinctive Minookami patterned trim along the outer edge, designed by White Earth Nation Ojibwe artist Hannah Standstrong. The design features a pinecone, which represents the strength and beauty of the Ojibwe community. Minookamii translates to “sure-footed” in Ojibwemowin, the language of the Anishinaabe people.
