The large brilliant golden-yellow and red-orange blossoms of this close relative of the black-eyed Susan will provide color through the hot summer months and will make excellent cut flowers. Large 4 in blooms with maroon centers surrounded by rays of yellow and red petals, this species will flourish with little moisture in the full sun and is best used as a specimen plant.
