Originally bred by local traveler communities in the United Kingdom, these horses were not only beautiful, but also useful. The very first Gypsy Vanners were imported to the United States in 1996. Today, this sturdy and intelligent breed is gaining popularity and is used for driving, a riding mount, and can be seen on the trail and in the show ring.
