It's built for whatever weather the day brings with UPF50+ protection and PFAS-Free DWR coating if there's a chance of rain. If the trail leads into scrambling across rocks, or you brush up against a thorny plant, it's abrasion-resistant to stay in good condition hike after hike. To keep your keys or snacks safe, there are side pockets plus an additional one in the built-in shorts.
